I am a practitioner and teacher of Tai Chi, Xing Yi (A cousin of Tai Chi) and Qi Gong.Tai Chi is a detailed health practice, a martial art, meditation, and ultimately a study of personal cultivation. It is practiced around the world to relieve pain, increase balance, reduce stress and to promote a long, healthy life. Lesser-known benefits of Tai Chi are that it can strengthen and develop the ligaments, tendons, muscles and bones. It is a dynamic and powerful practice that fortifies and anchors the breath, and calms and focuses the mind. When practiced regularly, the effects of Tai Chi on the whole body are not to be understated, bringing together the body, breath and mind into one focused powerful whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
