"As you let go and willingly release the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of your being, Spirit becomes your state.”

Micheal Singer - Untethered Soul

My mantra is to take a deep breath and begin again! This is reflected in all the classes I teach. My yin classes at The Shed are a chance to go deep, find that internal awareness, the resistance, the openness. To work towards finding space, between the breaths, between the thoughts as we try to move away from the push and pull of life. Being simply present in the poses witnessing, accepting and experiencing things as they are moving towards a place of peace.

We take the yin poses which are generally low to the floor, we take time getting out body into a shape that feels correct and then we stay a while but generally more that 2 minutes. It’s a deeply meditative practice where we focus on both physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of ourselves.
